限定プレスにより現在入手困難の「Mayer Hawthorne / Direct To Disc」少量確保。

「Stones Throw」15周年を記念して始まったリリースタイトルでもこちらはかなりの注目シリーズ「Direct To Disc」。Live音源をそのままVinylに封じ込めるという、正に原点回帰な一枚。本作はMayer HawthorneとバックバンドThe CountyによるLive音源。1st Album収録曲となる「Maybe So Maybe No」、「Just Ain't Gonna Work Out」、「Green Eyed Love」を始め、「Gangsta Luv」、「No Strings」等も披露。
Vinylのリリースから始まったレーベルこそが出来る記念企画。CD/デジタルリリースは一切無いExclusiveアナログ。手押し風ののハンコのジャケット。

We now have copies of the Mayer Hawthorne & The County and Rick records which were recorded live, directly to vinyl at Stones Throw's Direct to Disc #1 event back in April. We pressed these up live at our second Direct to Disc event this past Saturday. They're in plain white jackets with a hand-stamped title on front. These records will not be released on digital or CD formats.
