Pendergrass signed with Philly International as a solo artist in 1976, and what followed was the start of one of the most successful careers―commercially and creatively―in R&B history.



The Stylistics

The tributaries of R&B overflow with sweet tenor/falsetto soul singers, but none has a sound more dreamy than Russell Thompkins Jr., the voice of the Stylistics.
